Party Potatoes
Let the Party Begin!
Spray and Fill small Casserole with potatoes. Make them the same size as the smallest size of the bunch, about 1/4 cubes. If you are using old potatoes peel them. If they are new potatoes scrub and cut them up in half or fourths and leave the skin on. Stick a fork in the spud to see if tender.
3-4 Onions. Half and sliver them.
3/4 cup water.
1/2 stick butter. (I use one extra line on the row).
Onion soup packet of French Onion Soup.
Crumble 6 pieces of Bacon. See below. This bacon is NOT crumbled enough. Crumble down much more for more bacon taste.
You don’t need to sir up.
Cook at 350 for 1 hour 30 minutes.
Stick a fork in the spud to see if tender.
Do not season or add garlic or doctor up at this point. Wait until done and let your guests add what they like. They will find they are perfect just the way the come out of the oven!
This is Auntie Carmen’s Party Potatoes and it is FANTASTIC! Grandma and Grandpa just loved it when she brought it over in the brown casserole……
