Neil Diamond sings this song. It reminds me tonight when you turned 13 and you wrote me a note to file the night before your birthday. It simply said, “You will always be my first best friend.”
Adam, you have been back home almost a month and to say you are my best friend tonight is deep felt and I say it will all of my heart and soul. I love how you check in with me first thing in the morning and sometimes throughout the day and then one more time before bedtime for good measure.
