Hi!
Becoming a HOG HEAD.......
It is WEDNESDAYS and it is time to be social! As many of you know I have lived a covid life for about 21 years......
When I had Adam with me, he was my Social life! His friends were my friends, his hang outs were mine...AND I loved every single minute of it!.....OH, & I was good at that kind of social.
I moved back home from College at South Carolina 35+ years ago. I worked in Mpls. a year & the south was calling.... My job agency flew me to Key West to interview with MR. MARRIOTT.
I got the job! My compensated apartment was a block from ...............................Ernest Hemingway's home! I came back, packed my bags, I was destined to become a writer!
My family threw a fit! They absolutely thought it was my FIRST worst idea of my life. I turned the offer down. My job agency said, "don't call back."
I didn't talk to my family for three months. I flew home in my $300 station wagon. Yes, I went to work for my family, for the rest of my life. With a whistle in my step.
Being a Single Mother "going out" was an easy choice. We became HOG HEADS. The webcams had LIVE MUSIC! We Dressed up, danced & made strawberry non-alcoholic daiquiris.
I didn't miss a day without Adam & we saved TONS OF MONEY! I was able to teach him about Mom & Dad's businesses & marketing ideas like my Mentor from Hogsbreath! Adam learned how to collect t-shirts & we did! From all his social places!
Watch the Webcam - these have been up over 30 years. Hogsbreath is Famous for them! It has been my dream to have these at our Opera House. Ideas are just a click away! Hogsbreath & Hemingway are still my "What's Happening" today.
