Click. Click. Click!

I have a new “Clicker”. It’s going to be my next favorite thing.

I love numbers. I am drawn to their meaning, their ability to move me, and their ability to prompt reflection. Keeping track of numbers is a way to monitor and measure. It is a way to set a goal! The jock in me loves this clicker!!!

I have been keeping stats since I was little. We used to count everything. Sugar packets per container at the restaurants, when we learned how to set the tables before the guests came. Every table had to be exact. Mother had a system.

Dad in the kitchen counted everything too. How many potatoes to peel each day of business was of utmost importance. He reflected from year to year, checked the weather and the newspapers, then came into the kitchen and nailed the numbers each night.

Food cost, liquor cost, and waste management all rely on the internal clickers of the business owner.

We all have one. But oh, how fun it is to have your very own clicker!

Back to 25.

I am going to keep track every night of how many guests come in. My goal is to have 25 people a night, Tuesday - Saturday!

This will almost double my 2026 budget! If you are driving home from work, make Frosty’s Spirits and Social Club your 3rd stop and I will add you to my clicker!

Numbers. They matter! Last night, Thursday, my first clicking night…17 CLICKS! It was a great night!
